The photo captures the three activities of the Gospel Mullsjö team in one shot. The Bible, the Gospel message about Jesus, and Mission to the world.
In the photo, Stig offers free New Testaments in Swedish and English to passers by. In total, 7 people took one and we pray that they will start to read it. We recommend starting by reading John's gospel.
This is where the famous verse, John 3:16 can be found
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
How many Bibles have you got in your house?
What is the objective?.
Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descendant of David, according to my gospel, for which I suffer hardship even to imprisonment as a criminal; but the word of God is not imprisoned. For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory.
2 Tim 2:8-10
How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?
If you received one of these New Testaments, then you can read what Jesus has said, what Peter has said, and what Paul said, for yourselves. Let the Bible be your preacher!
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink, so we say in England.
We can present the gospel message (Evangelium) to the people but we can't make them listen. However, many people do listen and do want to consider the importnat questions in life.
It is simpler for some to ignore life's questions, and avoid looking deeper to see what it is about. They have already decided that man is only stardust and has no soul.
After all, if you can't find the soul and put it in a test-tube for analysis then it must mean that it doesn't exist - or does it?
"For you always have the poor with you; but you do not always have Me"
For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."
Love is spiritual and practical.
Gospel Mullsjö is niether a profit based organisation nor a charity. The goal is only to make the gospel known in the Mullsjö area, or wherever the opportunity arises.
